Ahan Shetty's debut goes on floors

Ahan Shetty

After Athiya Shetty, now Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Athiya entered Bollywood with Hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi.

Ahan will be seen making his debut in the Hindi remake of South movie, RX100. The film is tentatively titled Tadap. Student Of The Year 2 actress, Tara Sutaria, will feature as the female lead opposite Ahan

RX100 starred Karthikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the lead roles. The film is an action romantic drama with a bold storyline. As romance starts brewing between the couple, they get separated and leads to Paya’s character Indu getting married to someone else. In his wait for her return, Karthikeya’s character continues his life as a gunda.

Tadap goes on the floor today at a theatre in Mumbai. The film will mostly be shot in Mussorie. Ahan’s character in the movie runs a movie theatre in Massorie. Given that this is an adaptation of a South Indian movie, director Milan Luthria wants to make sure that the movie is made according to his Hindi audience. Milan has done a lot of research and selected Central Plaza as it is not too vintage or too posh.

Ahan will start the shoot today and Tara will join the cast later. Though she will join the cast later, she will be present for the lunch with the team today.

Directed by Milan Luthria, Tadap is a dramatic and unexpected love story and is being produced under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is presented by Fox Star Studios.
