Taapsee Pannu Feels The Audiences Have Been Fed That Heroes Have A Gender

Taapsee Pannu, who bowled us over with her performance in Badla, will soon be seen in Mission Mangal co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menon.

In a recent interview, the actress expressed her thoughts about the stereotype of heroes being a gender-centric idea. She explained how the audiences have been fed with the idea of the term hero being designated to gender and how slowly and steadily she is trying to change that with her movies.

The Badla actress also pointed out how the change won’t come overnight but will require a lot of perseverance and patience for the same.

Besides Mission Mangal, Taapsee will also be seen in Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar.

Mission Mangal is based on ISRO’s successful attempt at launching a ship to Mars. The trailer of the movie has received much appreciation from all. The movie will be clashing with John Abraham starrer Batla House on 15th August.
