Shahid Kapoor on long distance relationships: I could never do it

The makers of Kabir Singh released the film’s third song, Mere Sohneya, today. It was launched at a college in Mumbai in the presence of Shahid Kapoor, Kaira Advani and the college’s student and staff.
Check out the song here:

Kabir Singh is about the love of two MBBS students — one of whom becomes a surgeon – and the trials and tribulations they go through cause of it. The actors were questioned about campus love.

Shahid said:

“Meri shaadi ho gayi hai…Mai toh retire ho gaya hu. Kiara is still in the market, she is single.”

Kiara replied:

“When I was growing up and whoever I crushed on I would hope that I could have the high school sweetheart wala marriage but that did not happen. Like he said, I am single. But I think it will be amazing if whoever here is dating each other and are still together after 5-10 years.”

When asked about long distance relationships, the two had very different answers:
Shahid said:

“I could never do it. What’s the point!”

Kiara said:

“I think it depends on how much you love a person. I think distance makes the heart more fonder.”

Kabir Singh is the official remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017). The film is being directed by the film’s original director, Sandeep Vanga. Presented by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde. The film is scheduled to release on 21 June 2019.
