Watch the trailer of the film here:

At the trailer launch when John who is also producing the film was asked about the film facing issues with its release in Pakistan, he said,

“This is not an Anti-Pakistan film, it’s a Pro-India film. We’re very clear that this is a film about India and we are very proud of this moment and want to celebrate this. If we keep on looking at other mountains we would be compromising on our film.”

When director Abhishek Sharma was asked about challenges they faced while making the film, he said,

“The biggest challenge while making the movie was fact or fiction. The story didn’t need to have songs to make it cinematic, the story itself was enough”

When Diana Penty who plays a very pivotal role in the film was asked about the preparations she had to undergo for the role, she replied,

“I didn’t have to do anything out of the blue for physical training but what made me say yes to the film was the story and I feel that the today’s generation needs to know about it”.

Parmanu- The story of Pokhran releases on 25th May 2018.
