With just 52 Fridays and a handful of festival releases, many films in Bollywood clash with each other as well as their Hollywood counterparts. Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi was set to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah on EID 2020.
But here some good news now: The clash is averted.
This morning Salman Khan took to Twitter and thanked Rohit Shetty for preponing the release date of the cop drama.
I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty

Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, is Rohit Shetty’s fourth cop drama. This is the newest addition to Shetty’s cop universe which previously comprised of Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba.
Inshallah, which stars Salman Khan in the lead is a very special film as it sees Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the actor collaborating after 20years. The film will also see Salman and Alia Bhatt sharing screen space for the first time.
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the film also stars Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Gulshan Grover, Sikander Kher and Neena Gupta. Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn will make special appearances in the film.
Rumors are doing the rounds that Rohit will be directing Salman Khan in Kick 2. However, Rohit‘s publicist has clarified the same, stating that the filmmaker won’t be directing Kick 2 but another film. This film with Salman will be produced by Rohit Shetty’s Rohit Shetty Picturez.
