Set in the mid 1940s, Kalank is mainly about a few decisions that change the lives of many. With a length of 168 minutes, Kalank is way too long and has many unnecessary songs and potions. It’s also very inconsistent. And don’t even get us started on the heavy & cheesy dialogues. Despite the flaws, it works because of its performances and story. You are interested and want to know how it’ll all culminate. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan & Kunal Kemmu are excellent.
