Feature Name: Isle Of Dogs

Director: Wes Anderson

Cast: Scarlett Johansson, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, Koyu Rankin, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Bryan Cranston

Run Time: 1 hr 21 mins (101 minutes)

This is the story about a young boy Atari, who is an adopted ward of the evil Mayor Kobayashi, goes for the search of his only Best Friend, his watch-dog, Spots Kobayashi in an abandoned Trash island. Spots is the first dog to get abandoned by Kobayashi himself because the threat of canine flu and snout fever is increasing in the city and also because he’s a dog hater.

In the quest of finding Spots, Atari comes across 5 alpha dogs Duke (Jeff Goldblum), King (Bob Balaban), Boss (Bill Murray), Rex (Edward Norton) and a stray dog, Chief (Bryan Cranston), and hence begin their fun yet adventurous ride.

Wes Anderson managed to showcase the love between a boy and his dog beautifully along with a strong message of stopping cruelty towards stray dogs and animals.

We give this beautiful stop animation 3.5 stars and highly recommend you to catch Isle of Dogs in theatres!
