Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer, Bareilly Ki Barfi is a sweet package of a cute love story. From Rajkummar Rao’s UP accent to Kriti Sanon’s acting skills, everything will make you fall in love with this small-town quirky rom com and make you laugh till your cheeks hurt! The damsel of Bareilly, Bitti, who is associated with Barfi is looking out for a Knight, but not with a shining armor. Everything is just on point, a mad family, a secured job, a best friend, and a dream to live for. All she desires is a guy who accepts her the way she is, without any filters added to her life.
A straight forward girl who breaks dances and watches English films is just fed up of the society and a nagging mother, after a few rejections of marriage. Reaches a point of frustration, when she decides to change her life, she ends up running away from her house only to reach a novel, Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Ayushmann, who runs a printing press gets to know about this and immediately helps her out, also cause he’s all head over heels in love with Bitti. Amidst the entire confusion created around the mystery writer enters the Babua of Bareilly, Rajkummar Rao. The entire story revolves around who will impress Bitti and marry this damsel.
We are completely blown away by Rajkummar’s acting and the transformation from being a babua to a rangbaaj leechad is simply apt. As always, Rajkummar has entered the skin of the character, leaving us all laughing out loud with his acting.
We give Bareilly Ki Barfi 3 buzzing bees! And a jar of honey to Rajkummar Rao and his rangbaaj character.
