Gajraj Rao And Neena Gupta To Reunite With Ayushmann Khurrana
Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta shared amazing chemistry in Badhaai Ho, which we all loved. The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer, which dealt with a mother getting pregnant when he elder son is to get married, won Rao and Gupta applauds making them a household name.
Now, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta are all set to reunite once again. They will be seen alongside Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a standalone sequel of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The first film dealt with the concept of erectile dysfunction and the sequel will speak of the taboo around same-sex love. Ayushmann has been roped in to play a gay man in the film.
Talking about the duo joining the film, one of the producers, Aanand L Rai, said:
“With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, we chose to explore a novel subject in an unusually unexpected setting. A unique story like this needed talents like Neenaji & Gajraj Rao and I am so happy to have them onboard.”
On hearing the story, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao immediately said yes. They will be playing a couple in this film too but their characters are going to be totally different with a twist. It is to be seen if they will play Ayushmann’s parents in this flick as well.
Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is being produced by Aanand L Rai. The film is set to release on Valentine’s Day 2020.
