Her role in Saathiya proved a turning point in her career. Here she played a middle class girl who falls in love and gets married to a rich guy. Their love for each other and the sincerity with which she portrayed it is still fresh in our mind.

In this film, Rani played a deaf-blind girl and it concentrated on her relationship with her teacher who later develops Alzheimer’s disease. Who didn’t feel what she felt in the film?

In this cross country drama, Rani played a lawyer who is responsible for clearing the image and reputation of an Indian Air Force Pilot and reuniting him with his love, a Pakistani woman, who moves to India. Rani stole the show especially in the courtroom scenes.

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

Laaga Chunari Mein Daag

Rani Mukerji portrays the role of Vibhavari Sahay, the elder daughter who goes to Mumbai to help her family financially. She willing sacrifices everything for their sake. We loved the sincerity with which she essayed the part.

No One Killed Jessica

No One Killed Jessica is based on the murder case of Jessica Lal. Rani Mukerji played the role of a journalist who gives her all to fight for Jessica Lal and her family. We doubt anyone could play it better than Rani.

Rani essayed the role of a policewoman whose interest in the case of a kidnapped teenage girl leads her to uncover secrets of human trafficking by the Indian mafia. We absolutely loved Rani’s kickass action scenes and dialogues in this thrilling film.

Here Rani played an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette syndrome and must prove herself by educating a group of underprivileged students. Rani proved that she still is a pro at acting with this comeback film.
