Former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson) is asked to assess the security for a 225 stories tall Hong Kong skyscraper called ‘The Pearl’. Little does he know that it will land him (and his family) in big trouble. The film is good only in bits and pieces and most action scenes are laughable. Dwayne Johnson is like Salman Khan in Wanted and other over the top films. But he does act well. Overall, the film is above average at best. We give it 2.5 buzzing bees.
