Hence it comes as no surprise that Sonam Kapoor was announced the recipient of a AsiaVision movie award – The star will be presented with the award for Best Actress for her performance in Neerja at the 11th Edition of the Asia Vision Movie Awards, held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium this Friday.
It was only recently that Sonam joined some of the most inspiring names in the country at the ET Panache Awards 2016 ,where she won the award for Trendsetter of the Year for representing fearless individualism in her films as well as her other professional decisions.
The actress is fast becoming the biggest contender for all the awards this season and earlier this year won the Critics Choice Award at the Hello Hall of Fame , for her portrayal of the Pan AM braveheart.
Sonam Kapoor’s performance in the biopic also made headlines internationally, winning her the Best Actress award at the recent Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
