Our review – 4 Buzzing Bees
To be honest, our expectation going into the theater for MS Dhoni were high. When you make movie on a cricket legend, you better hope you hit all the right notes and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story does just that. Taking you through a beautiful journey of how a young ambitious boy became the icon we know today, the movie keeps you involved to the core!
Sushant Singh Rajput is Dhoni and Dhoni is him! He puts his soul into the characters and gives his career best performance. While you watch him transform into the cricketer you have seen walk the field so many times, you can’t help but wait to see more of him! (Like stalking him on Facebook, watching his videos till 2am..the usual).
Disha Patani makes a beautiful debut in the industry. Her chemistry with Sushant is a breath of fresh air! We’re hoping to see more of her in the future.
Kiara Advani is memorable as Dhoni’s wife. Her chemistry with Sushant is loving and comfortable..almost like home!
Neeraj Pandey does a spectacular job directing this masterpiece of a movie! The cast, the scenes, music come together beautifully!
The movie focuses more on Dhoni’s life before he joined Team India and if you’re expecting to see more of him on the field, you might be a little disappointed. But to know where Dhoni has reached you must not give this journey a miss!
