Sanjivani, the television drama about doctors we all seen while growing up, is all set to wow us once again. Sanjivani 2, a creation of Siddharth Malhotra, premiered yesterday. Ex-doctors of the earlier shows wished the new crop of interns and doctors the very best at recreating the magic.
Guarav Chanana who played the boyish Dr Rahul Mehra in Sanjivani can’t wait for the shows to make a comeback. He said:
“It was definitely the biggest show of my life. Wishing the new team and the old team of Mohnish and Gurdeep all the best. It’s going to be amazing!”

Mihir Mishra who also played Dr Rahul, says that this second installment of the show is exactly what the doctors prescribed.
“Here’s wishing my dear friend and first producer ever all the very best! A show very close to my heart since I debuted on it. Wishing the team and my two favourite characters – Dr Shashank Gupta, morning sir! And Dr Juhi Singh, Gurdeep Punj, the very best!”
Dr Simran Chopra played first by Shilpa Kadam said,
“Your favourite doctors’ show is coming back on air! Make sure you tune in and shower all your love and best wishes like you did with Sanjivani. It’s going to be even better and bigger than before!”
Rupali Ganguly who went on to play Dr Simran says she can’t wait to watch her favourites, Dr Shashank and Dr Juhi.
“I’m sure the new team of Sanjivani is going to be superb! All the best Siddharth and team Sanjivani 2!”
Warm wishes also poured in from Irawati Harshe who played Dr Shashank’s wife, Dr Smriti and Arjun
Punj aka Dr Aman.
The doctors of Dill Mill Gaye, a spin-off to Sanjivani, also chipped in to wish for the producer and the new team. The main leads Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover, who essayed the iconic Armaan-Riddhima romance, sent in wishes.
The rest of the cast including Drashti Dhami (Dr Muskaan), Karan Wahi (Dr Siddhanth), Amit Tandon (Dr Abhimanyu), Neha Jhulka (Dr Naina), Sehban Azim (Dr Yuvraj), Sonia Singh (Dr Kirti), Ayaz Khan (Dr Shubhankar), Muskaan Mihani (Dr Sapna), Pankit Thakker (Dr Atul), Shilpa Tulaskar (Nurse Padma), and Prasad Barve (Dr Jitendra), sent lots of love and luck to Malhotra and the team of Sanjivani 2.
