Today marks the final day of International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Over the last 7 days we witnessed a number of celebrities and important dignitaries from the cinema world speak at the film festival. Here are some highlights of the 48th Indian Film Festival Of India on Day 8th.

Section: Indian Panorama – Meet the Directors

Feature film: Maza Bhirbhira (Marathi)
Director: Yogesh Soman

Feature Film: Railway Children (Kannada)
Director: Prithvi Konanur.

Yogesh Soman talks about his film Maza Bhirbhira:

“As a Marathi filmmaker, it makes me proud to see 9 Marathi films at IFFI.”

Prithvi Konanur talks about his film Railway Children.

Pratik Vats talks about his film An Old Man with Enormous Wings.

In attendance are Raima Sen, Pablo Cesar and Suraj Kumar

Suraj Kumar said:

“I am lucky to be a part of this film. I must say that it has taken me two decades to be here today. Pablo Cesar is a fantastic director. I came to IFFI first in 2015 and now I am back here in 2017.”

Raima Sen said:

“Of course I come to the IFFI every year but my film has never been a part of the closing ceremony. I am extremely proud of the movie and I hope everyone experiences it and watches it!”
