Salman Khan Given The ‘Benefit Of Doubt’ On His 1998 Arms Act Case.

In Today’s ‘This doesn’t surprise us’ news of the day, Salman Khan has been acquitted of all charges in the Arms Act case against him for the alleged poaching of two black bucks.

For those of you who don’t know, a case against Salman Khan was registered in October 1998 for his alleged use and possession of arms with an expired license. One of the most talked about aspects of his life, the case has been going on for almost 2 decades!

Salman Khan’s lawyer said, “Justice has won. Prosecution completely failed to prove charges under sec 3/25, 3/27 of Arms Act. In the 102 page judgment, CJM D.S.Rajpurohit says prosecution evidence against Salman Khan not adequate.” And the Public Prosecutor stated, “Salman has been given benefit of doubt. We’ll decide on the further action once we receive the copy of the order.”

Honestly, we’re not surprised by the verdict made by the Jodhpur court! Salman Khan has been acquitted for a much serious charge before – murder. We’re not 100% sure if justice has prevailed but guess the jury has the final word.
