Subhas Chandra Bose, fondly regarded as Netaji, was one of the prominent fighters who attempted to win India’s Independence with the help of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. Due to differences with Mahatma Gandhi and high commands of the Indian National Congress, he was taken off the Congress team. He was even put under house arrest by British before he outsmarted them and left the country. Bose revamped the Indian National Army (INA) that composed of Indian soldiers of the British Indian army.

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is said to have died from third-degree burns received when his plane crashed in Taiwan, though some Indians did not believe it and trusted that he would return to gain India’s independence.

The latest cinematic feature on the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is ALTBalaji’s Bose: Dead/Alive. Rajkummar Rao portrays the role of Subhash Chandra Bose. The series received rave acclaim at IVM. It is based on the book India’s Biggest Cover-up by activist Anuj Dhar.
