Gone Girl fame, Oscar-nominated actress Rosamund Pike plays a German hijacker along with Daniel Brühl in her next, 7 days in Entebbe. Directed by Jose Padilha (of the Narcos fame), 7 Days in Entebbe is a riveting thriller inspired by true events from the much talked about 1976 Air France Tel Aviv-Paris flight hijack incident. The film spans the journey of how a shocking act of terrorism leads to one of the most daring hostage rescue missions ever.

Rosamund who plays a hijacker along with Brühl was very thrilled to work with Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG-nominated actor.  Pike said,

“I wanted to work with Daniel ever since I saw him in Good Bye Lenin! I thought he was just phenomenal as race car driver Niki Lauda in Rush.”

Talking further about the film and working with the Rush actor Pike added,

“The script really takes you inside the minds of the hijackers. In most films, terrorists tend to be such unknown and personality-free figures. So it’s quite interesting to get to know what’s driving them in this story. If we get it right, you might, at certain moments, feel something for Brigitte and Böse.”

Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment to release “7 Days in Entebbe” on 16 March 2018. The film is directed by José Padilha and stars Rosamund Pike and Daniel Brühl in the lead roles.
