The Spy Who Dumped Me starring Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon has been loved and appreciated a lot right from the release of its trailer! Directed by one of the finest American writers, Susanna Fogel, this action comedy with women in lead roles is all set to swoop us with its edgy plot and exotic locations!

The story revolves around two friends played by Mila and Kate who become the victim of a mistaken identity and are chased by a group of assassins through Europe.

Hasan Minhaj, an Indian comedian turned actor will also be seen in a pivotal role playing the American spy, Topher Duffer. From being a stand-up comedian to now acting as a spy in the film, Minhaj has definitely come a long way.

Talking more about the character, Hasan said:

“Duffer is a smarmy jerk. I thought it would be fun to play this character who is a little insecure and wants to be really proud of the fact that he went to Harvard. He’s a little jealous of Sebastian as well.”

The Spy Who Dumped Me brings to us a lot more than what meets the eye. The film not only has a mind-bending plot but also takes us to breathtaking locations you wouldn’t want to miss! The entire team travelled across nine cities including Los Angeles, Prague, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, and Moscow. The production was largely shot on locations like Budapest and also filmed in Vienna, and Amsterdam which became a significant part of this film.

Commenting on the same, Susanna said:

“We want to feel like there are different stops along the way that touches on a different thing about Europe that people will find interesting, exotic, funny, different.”

While, the trailer looks promising and features a twisted tale of two friends wrapped in chaos, confusion & mistrust, we can’t wait to watch this compelling entertainer tomorrow!

The Spy Who Dumped Me distributed by Lionsgate India starring Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon directed by Susanna Fogel and is slated to releases tomorrow, 10th August 2018.
