Salman Khan and Pramod Khanna in Dabangg 3
Salman Khan, who was last seen in Bharat, is currently busy shooting the third installment of Dabangg with Rajjo aka Sonakshi Sinha. The first two installments saw veteran actor, the Late Vinod Khanna, play Salman Khan’s father, Prajapati. Given that the actor passed away in 2017, the role of Salman’s father will now be essayed by another actor.
In order to fill the void left by Vinod, the makers have now roped in his brother Pramod Khanna for the role. Salman took to Twitter to announce this news. He shared a video saying,

The video focusses first on with Salman Khan and Vinod Khanna‘s happy moments and later the camera falls on Pramod Khanna, who introduces himself as Prajapati Pandey.
Dabangg 3 went on floors earlier this year and it is set to hit screens on December 20 this year. The film is directed by Prabhudheva, written by Dilip Shukla and produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and co-produced by Amar Butala, Rajan Kapoor and Garima Mehta.
