Nora Fatehi To Feature With Vicky Kaushal In A Romantic Number

Nora Fatehi And Vicky Kaushal

Nora Fatehi is on cloud nine. After featuring in the hit Bharat starring Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif, Nora bowled us over with her smooth moves in O Saki Saki from Batla House. The dancer/actres played her roles – thought minimun – to perfection in this film.

The latest we hear now about Ms. Fatehi is that she will soon star opposite Vicky Kaushal. Yes, the duo are all set to feature together in a music video, Pachtaoge, where she plays Vicky’s love interest

A still from the song is out and it looks steamy.

Talking about the song, Nora says:

“I’d been waiting for such opportunities as I have always wanted to be an actress”.

She adds:

“The song came to me after Dilbar (from Satyameva Jayate) released last year and the makers had told me that they were looking for a guy to cast opposite me. The song is very different from what I have done before. It is not a dance number, but a very performance-oriented song revolving around a married couple and what happens between them. I won’t be dancing in this one.”

According to a source, the shooting of the video will take place in Shimla over three days.

On working with Nora, Vicky says:

“She’s a person who radiates positivity and we had a lot of fun shooting with her. When I heard the song for the first time, I was hooked and played it on loop for the longest time”.

Pachtaoge deals with love and betrayal. It is directed by Arvinder Khaira.

Talking about Arvinder, Nora says:

“Arvinder is good at directing videos that have emotions and stories that connect with the audience. People are used to watching Vicky act but it’s going to be different to see me in this avatar. The lyrics are so beautiful, it gave me goosebumps when I heard them for the first time.”

On the work front, Vicky star in Sardar Udham Singh – a film based on the life of Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter. Nora, on the other hand, will feature in Remo D’souza’s Street Dancer 3D.
