Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl starrer Notebook – which releases today – has bagged a top position on an IMDB survey as the most anticipated Indian films this year.

According to a source:

“The melodious tunes composed by Vishal Mishra along with the lyrics have struck a chord with the audience. The first song Nai Lagda is a romantic ballad picturized on Kabir, played by Zaheer. Laila puts forth the romantic side of Firdaus, Pranutan’s character and Bumro, which revives the traditional folk vibe, is being touted as the dance song of the season. After much anticipation, Salman Khan has taken to the mic once again in Main Taare. Safar has taken the audience on a beautiful voyage of love against the background of Kashmir’s picturesque locations.”

Nitin said:

“We have put our heart and soul into making this film. It feels enriching when your efforts are appreciated and loved. Zaheer, Pranutan and the kids have lived the characters through the film and felt the emotions thoroughly for their first ever on-screen appearance. As the story touches one’s heart with its unconventional narrative, we hope the film strikes a chord with the audience as well.”

Notebook presents a unique love story of two individuals who fall in love without even meeting each other.

Salman Khan Films presents Notebook. A Cine1 Studios production is directed by National Awardee, Nitin Kakkar starring the debutants Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. The film is produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde and is slated to release today.
