Only Karan Johar can make you laugh, love, cry and smile altogether in 3 hours. His depiction of love, friendship and heartbreak is exactly what you except – beautiful beyond imagination! However, there are parts that you don’t relate to at all and things that seem a bit too larger than life but like most of his movies, Karan Johar gets away with it.

Ranbir Kapoor – If eyes could tell stories, his would write books! Apart from the story, the one thing you take back is your love for Ayan. The actor makes you feel the emotions he is feeling and he is truly the star of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It’s an absolute to delight to watch Ranbir Kapoor on the big screen.

Anushka Sharma is breathtaking as Alizeh! Her chemistry with Ranbir is familiar yet new, sizzling yet calm at the same time. She holds her own throughout the movie and gives a memorable performance. However, sometimes you want to roll your eyes because it’s clear that Ayan likes her. A part of you is angry at the character for hanging him by a thread and the reactions seems unreal sometimes.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is in a role you have never seen her before in and she’ll be a hit in your hearts from the very first scene! Her chemistry with Ranbir makes you wish they did more movies together! She is breathtaking in every shot, it’s unbelievable that every emotion looks beautiful on her.

All in all, while it’s not an innovation in terms of content or direction, it’s a love story that you should spend your money on. It’s a cheesy movie with a predictable plotline after a point but all in all, you’re going to love it!
