Dangal, the last movie of the year 2016, is all set to hit the theatres on 23rd December, and it has been given a tax-free status in Uttar Pradesh! The story is based on Mahavir Phogat, a Haryana-based wrestler, and his struggle to represent India in International wrestling competition.
Aamir had said in a press conference during Dangal promotions, “I think Dangal falls in the line of tax exemption. We will be applying for tax exemption, but I am not someone to decide on that. It will be the decision of each state government. We will try to make it happen before the release, but it is a process. It may or may not happen.”
It seems like fortune is in Aamir’s favour! We wish him luck for Dangal. May he win the battle at the box office!
