B-Town is an industry where an outsider has to struggle and constantly battle to make his space. While the constant argument between the nepotism versus struggle of outsiders is always on the field, there have been numerous names who have in spite of being outsiders, secured a tight spot in the industry solely on their talent, and Remo D’souza is definitely one of them. starting his career as a background dancing, Remo D’Souza is no more a name to be associated with just dancing or judging a reality show but he has proved his talent as a director through his successful flicks such as F.A.L.T.U., ABCD and ABCD 2.

While he first gained the audiences’ recognition when he was the judge on dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance‘, Remo had been working in the industry far before that. On his birthday, here we present the list of songs where we totally missed this self-made man dancing in the background. Check it out here:

1.Aflatoon

Aflatoon is considered as one of the milestones of Akshay Kumar‘s career. In its main song Aflatoon, Remo was dancing in the background as a background dancer. Have you noticed that? Check out the song right away:

2.Rangeela

Believe it or not, Rangeela was A. R. Rahman‘s debut Hindi film with an original score and soundtrack, as his previous Hindi releases were dubbed versions of his Tamil films. Apart from this, one more thing we did not know was Remo dancing in the song “Rangeela Re“. In this iconic song, Remo was seen grooving alongside beautiful Urmila Matondkar. Watch the video here:

3.Pardes

Apart from a good plot and powerpack performances by the cast, another thing we admire Pardes is for its music. Nadeem-Shravan‘s music is lit AF in the entire film. When we were busy drooling over SRK in it’s romantic melodious ‘Zara Tasveer Se Tu’, we totally missed Remo dancing in the background. Check out the video here:

4.Meenaxi

Meenaxi was directed by M.F. Husain and had the star cast consists of Tabu, Kunal Kapoor and Raghuvir Yadav. Though the film failed to do wonders at the box office, the music by none other than A R Rahman stayed with us for a long time. How can we forget the legendary ‘Chinnamma Chilakamma‘? But do you know that it also features Remo alongside Kunal Kapoor? Check it out here:

Well, they say it’s the struggle that will take you to places and there is no doubt that Remo D’souza has climbed the ladder of success solely on his hard-work and talent.

On the work front, Remo is busy with Race 3 and has also announced for his next dance film featuring Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif.

Happy Birthday Remo D’souza! We love you!
