The much awaited trailer for Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Phillauri is finally out and damn if it isn’t good! For starters – Diljit Dosanjh looks so freakin hot, and then he sings with that voice and totally owns the trailer!
The movie takes a dig on the age old ritual of humans marrying trees to get rid of their manglik dosha and gives it a hilarious yet romantic spin. Divided into two timelines, it follows the story of Anushka Sharma as a friendly ghost who follows Suraj Sharma’s character everywhere. This is because he marries her by mistake when he tries to get married to his tree. The other timeline from what we can see, tells us the story of Anushka Sharma’s unfinished business and her story with Diljit’s character.
This film is set out to merge two different worlds through one spirit and we are looking forward to it.
